Lori Fung C.M., O.B.C - Founder
Through the guidance and inspiration of the first ever Olympic Gold Medalist in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Lori Fung, Club Elite has been a premier Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in North America for over 20 years.

- 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist – Rhythmic Sportive Gymnastics
- 7 Time Canadian Grand National Champion (1982-1988)
- 4 Time 4-Continents Gold Medalist
- 1984 BC Athlete of the Year
- Canadian National Team Coach 1991-2001
- Coached 2 Canadian Sr. National Champions
- Coach of the 1994 Commonwealth Games Gold Medal Team
- Member of the Order Of Canada
- Member of the Order of British Columbia
- Awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal
- Inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame
- Inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame
- Performed for Pope John Paul during The BC Papal Visit in 1984
- Performed for Their Royal Highness’, Prince Charles & Princess Diana in 1986
- Appeared as an aerial ballerina in the movie “Cat Woman” with Halle Berry
- Currently an International Brevet Judge for Rhythmic Gymnastics
Since retiring from coaching and owning Club Elite Rhythmics, Lori is pursuing her International Judging for Rhythmic Gymnastics and has begun her own business, “Sports Specialty Services” which includes motivational speaking, personal appearances, specialty training for athletes and dancers, and consulting. She is also very active in volunteering in the Rhythmic Gymnastics community. Lori is the proud mother of 3 boys, Cole, Alexander and Nicholas and is married to Dean Methorst, financial planner.
